From the Founder of Carnivore Biotics

Eva Florinda Gomes, Founder of Carnivore Biotics, in a grey dress

Hi, I'm Eva. This is where your gut starts to heal.

I built Carnivore Biotics around one belief, that the body was designed to run on animal foods, and that a rested, well-fed gut changes everything. This is my hub: the guide, the science, and the protocols I trust, in one place.

    Meet the Founder

    Eva Florinda Gomes

    Founder, Carnivore Biotics

Stanford Medicine-trained Nutritionist · Certified Personal Trainer · Ancestral Living Specialist

Eva Florinda Gomes is a Stanford Medicine-trained nutritionist, certified personal trainer, and long-time advocate of animal-based living. As Health and Safety Director for a leading global corporation, she has built her career around human optimization, safety, and physical longevity, and spent years mastering the principles of ancestral living: nutrient-dense animal nutrition, intentional sunlight, grounding, and pure mineral salt balance.

    The spark behind Carnivore Biotics

When Eva and her family fully committed to a strict carnivore lifestyle, the benefits were remarkable: more vitality, sharper mental clarity, real strength. But like many in the low-carb, high-fat community, they hit a persistent wall: gut microbiome adaptation. Moving to a zero-fiber, high-fat diet fundamentally changes the digestive environment, and it often brings temporary discomfort, sluggish motility, and imbalance. Determined to solve it for her own household, Eva drew on her clinical nutrition background and deep knowledge of the microbiome, and realized why nothing worked: standard probiotics are engineered for high-fiber, plant-heavy diets, leaving them largely useless in a low-carb, high-fat gut.

Backed by science, built for carnivores

Refusing to settle, Eva partnered with leading scientists, researchers, and experts across the low-carb and ancestral health space to formulate the first probiotic engineered specifically to thrive in a low-fiber, high-fat intestinal environment. What began as a personal mission to heal her own family has become a breakthrough for the whole carnivore community, helping thousands transition smoothly, absorb nutrients efficiently, and maintain a thriving gut microbiome. Carnivore Biotics exists to bridge the gap between pure animal-based nutrition and optimal gut health.

"True health starts when we align our modern lives with our evolutionary biology. My mission with Carnivore Biotics is to give our community the exact scientific tools needed to thrive on an animal-based diet without compromising digestive wellness." Eva Florinda Gomes

Carnivore, keto, and paleo aren't competing camps. They're three approaches to the same underlying principle: eat the way humans were built to eat. Read through the science, the protocols, and the lived experience behind each one.

    Pillar 01

    The Carnivore Diet

The strictest of the three. An elimination diet of animal foods only. That means meat, organs, eggs, dairy if tolerated, and nothing from plants. Used both as a long-term lifestyle and as a diagnostic reset for autoimmune, digestive, and inflammatory issues. The most demanding to transition into, but the simplest to maintain once you've adapted.

    Pillar 02

    The Keto Diet

A low-carb, high-fat protocol that shifts your metabolism from running on glucose to running on ketones. More flexible than carnivore. Vegetables, nuts, and limited fruit are still on the table, but it is built around the same metabolic principle: minimize carbohydrates, fuel on fat. The most studied of the three lifestyles, with decades of clinical literature behind it.

    Pillar 03

    The Paleo Diet

The original ancestral diet framework. Built on the premise that the foods our pre-agricultural ancestors ate are the foods our biology is still adapted to digest. That means meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds. Excludes grains, legumes, refined sugars, and industrial seed oils. The most accessible entry point for anyone moving away from a modern processed-food diet.

    Pillar 04

    Ancestral Living

Diet is the foundation, but it's not the whole picture. Ancestral living is the lifestyle layer that wraps around carnivore, keto, and paleo. It includes the sleep patterns, the sunlight exposure, the movement, and the connection to the earth that our biology evolved alongside our food. You can run any of the three diets above on their own. You'll get further if you run them inside an ancestral framework.
