Our Story

Carnivore Biotics started at a kitchen table, not a boardroom. When our founder, a nutritionist, couldn't fix her own family's gut on an all-meat diet, she discovered no product on the market was built for it. So she made one.

I'm a Stanford Medicine-trained nutritionist, certified in Nutrition Science, a certified personal trainer, and, in my day job, the Health and Safety Director for a global corporation. My whole career has been about human optimization, safety, and longevity. Away from work, I've spent years living and studying ancestral health: nutrient-dense animal nutrition, real sunlight, grounding, and proper mineral balance.
When my family and I went fully carnivore, the benefits were remarkable, more energy, sharper focus, real strength. But we hit a wall that a lot of the low-carb, high-fat community knows well: our guts didn't adapt smoothly. Moving to a zero-fiber, high-fat way of eating completely changes the digestive environment, and it brought discomfort, sluggish digestion, and imbalance.
I was determined to solve it for my own household. I went back to my clinical background and everything I knew about the microbiome, and the answer became obvious: standard probiotics are engineered for high-fiber, plant-heavy diets. In a low-carb, high-fat gut, they're largely useless. Nothing on the shelf was built for how we actually eat.
So I decided to build it. I partnered with scientists and researchers in the low-carb and ancestral health space to formulate the first probiotic designed specifically to thrive in a low-fiber, high-fat gut. What started as a mission to heal my own family became something bigger, a way to help thousands of people transition smoothly, absorb nutrients efficiently, and keep a thriving gut on an animal-based diet.
That's the whole reason Carnivore Biotics is here: to bridge the gap between pure animal-based nutrition and real gut health.
"True health starts when we align our modern lives with our evolutionary biology. My mission is to give our community the exact scientific tools to thrive on an animal-based diet, without compromising digestive wellness."
Mission & Values
To align modern life with our evolutionary biology, giving the animal-based community the exact scientific tools to thrive, without compromising gut health.
One problem, solved properly. A probiotic built for this diet, not a do-everything supplement.
We tell you exactly what our certifications mean, and what they don't.
We honor both the lab and the lineage: peer-reviewed research and the way humans were built to eat.
We answer to our customers, not outside investors.
Why You Can Trust Us
Our probiotic is licensed by Health Canada (NPN 80145666) and made in a GMP-certified facility in North Vancouver, BC.
A few honest clarifications, because the supplement industry tends to overstate this:
Health Canada has reviewed the product's identity, dosage, recommended use, risk information, and the evidence supporting it under the Natural Health Products Regulations. The NPN means the product is safe for Canada as a natural health product and that Health Canada has reviewed and tested it.
The product facility operates under Good Manufacturing Practices, which is a quality standard covering cleanliness, process control, ingredient verification, and testing. It's the same framework used by reputable supplement companies.
Carnivore Biotics is an independent, customer-funded company. We're deliberately small right now. Our priority is making one product well, supporting our customers properly, and being honest about what we do and don't know.
We mention all of this because the supplement category has a long history of dressing up routine regulatory steps as if they were special accomplishments. We'd rather just tell you what's actually true.
The Short Science
A carnivore gut is a genuinely different environment: more bile, almost no fiber, shifted pH and transit time, and a different fuel source for your bacteria. That's why off-the-shelf probiotics don't fit. Ours uses three bile-tolerant strains, L. reuteri, L. rhamnosus, and L. gasseri, in a delayed-release capsule engineered to survive a high-acid, high-fat gut.
The People Behind It
Carnivore Biotics wasn't formulated in a vacuum. Eva partnered with researchers and experts in microbiome science and low-carb metabolism to design and validate a formula built specifically for the animal-based gut, bringing peer-reviewed rigor to every strain and dose.
